Hi, my name is Winston Lie. I was born in Jakarta, Indonesia but for most of my life I grew up in Boise, Idaho. I am a junior here at the university concentrating in molecular biology. On campus, I do a variety of activities. Some of which includes working as a McGraw tutor for chemistry, researching in a biochemistry/structural biology lab, serving as a psychology research assistant at the Princeton Neuroscience Institute, and writing part time for the Daily Princetonian. I'm very passionate about science and I enjoy doing research; some of my past research projects have involved regenerative medicine, membrane fusion, and DNA damage repair. My other hobbies include reading, cooking, photography, traveling, running, and tennis. This past summer I studied abroad in Italy, spending time in both Rome and Venice. In the fall, I also took part in a research exchange at the University of Oxford, working in a biochemistry/genetics lab for 6 months. I look forward to meeting you all.
