This summer, I had the pleasure of interning to assistthe organization in their mission of promoting democracy and free societies worldwide. The foundation was founded in 2017 by former NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen and works globally on a number of diplomatic initiatives, cumulating at the annual Copenhagen Democracy Summit. I was honored to have worked at the summit, where my work generally revolved around delegation management--as I completed preparatory research and had the privilege of assisting world leaders during their time at the conference. Outside the conference, I also worked with the foundation in their media work, global outreach, and fundraising giving me a wide range of dynamic intercultural skills.
During my time off, I took a bike and canal tour of Copenhagen, a tour of a bakery and baking class, and explored many of the artistic and design aspects of Copenhagen.
