Bio/Description

Michelle McLean is the Fellowships Coordinator and started in 2022. She studied Asian Studies at the University of Delaware where her passion for helping international students started. She volunteered all four years of her undergraduate degree assisting with international student support via the English Language Institute (ELI). She also studied abroad in Kobe, Japan in the summer of 2014. She followed her ELI mentor’s advice and pursued a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Rider University. Prior to Princeton, she was a student success coach at Rider where she supported underserved students’ academic journeys. She is an NJ and nationally licensed counselor as well as a nationally Board-Certified Coach. She just received her Ed.S in Higher Education Administration and Leadership (Counseling) to later pursue her dream of supporting international students holistic and mental wellbeing while at their university. She is excited to assist students with their fellowships.
