Johanna Rossi Wagner is a Study Abroad Adviser in the Office of International Programs, where she advises undergraduates interested in studying the United Kingdom, Ireland and East Asia. She studied British and Italian literature at Penn State University and has a master’s degree in creative writing from Chatham University and a Ph.D. in Italian from Rutgers University. Before coming to Princeton, Johanna was an Associate Teaching Professor at Penn State where she taught contemporary Italian and Italian American literature and film. As an undergraduate student, she studied at the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom and completed graduate coursework in Costa Rica and Italy. At Penn State, Johanna served as the faculty adviser for students planning a semester or summer in Italy and was a faculty director for summer abroad programs to Todi, Italy and Amsterdam, Netherlands. In her free time, Johanna loves to travel, spend time with her family, and practice any kind of yoga.
