International Experience: University of Cape Town
Location: Cape Town, South Africa
I am a Senior majoring in the Politics department from London, UK. On campus, I am heavily involved in the first-gen, low income student community and previously served as President of the Princeton Hidden Minority Council (now the First-Gen, Low Income Council). I am also a tour guide for visitors to campus, a student ambassador the Vote100 initiative, and work in the Butler/Wilson dining hall. In my spare time, I enjoy various sports, mainly soccer, both as a player and as a fan. In my junior spring, I studied abroad at the University of Cape Town. Studying abroad afforded me countless opportunities and experiences that have added so much to my Princeton experience. As a Global Ambassador, I’m hoping to share some of my experiences with students considering studying abroad. I am happy to talk to anyone who is thinking of studying abroad to help them decide which program is best, and why studying abroad in general can offer such positive experiences.
