Internship site: Center for Study of Democracy, Sofia, Bulgaria
Tell us a little about your IIP: This summer, I will be interning in the Economic Program at the Center for the Study of Democracy in Sofia, Bulgaria, where I will work with researchers to analyze Russian media capture, election monitoring, and the spread of disinformation. As a Politics major, I am excited to apply the research and analytical skills I have learned at Princeton to the real world. Some of my favorite courses, including Grand Strategy and Introduction to Game Theory, have sparked my interest in media and elections, and especially in quantitative methods for analyzing politics. Throughout this process, I have been amazed at how friendly and accessible the team at CSD has been. I can't wait to get started!!
A unique hobby: Coxing! I am a female coxswain for the Men's Heavyweight Crew Team at Princeton. I have met some of my closest friends rowing down Lake Carnegie each day.
