Bio/Description

Major: History of Science
College: Butler
International Experience: St. Anne's College at Oxford University
Location: Oxford, United Kingdom

I’m currently a senior in the history of science track within the History department. I studied abroad at St. Anne’s College at Oxford University during the spring of 2024, where I was taking their history and medical humanities courses jointly. At Oxford, I took philosophy of science and history of science classes for the medical humanities part of my coursework, and two courses on the Renaissance in Europe for my history coursework. I was also working on my junior independent work. I collaborated with my main history professor (called a tutor there) at St. Anne’s to create a series of articles based on my junior paper research about the mathematics of early modern navigation in England meant for Oxford first-year history students to use as a resource! In addition to studying abroad, I also did a Streicker Fellowship in Austria immediately after my time in Oxford. On campus, I’m a part of SIFP and I tutor at the Writing Center. I play video games in my spare time and enjoy card games with friends!
