Hi there! I am a current senior in the Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) department concentrating on Geological Engineering. I grew up in Spokane, Washington and love spending time outside! I studied abroad at the University of Auckland in New Zealand during the fall of 2023 and it was the experience of a lifetime. During my semester abroad, I got the opportunity to travel all around the beautiful New Zealand landscape, go sky diving, and even attend a few world cup games! I took a variety of course including a water quality and treatment course, a geology course, a European film course, and an American history course titled “Rise and Fall of the USA” — Taking an American history course from a foreign perspective was certainly a fascinating and eye-opening experience. My time was amazing on so many fronts, but I especially enjoyed the experience of living in a new culture while still being able to create life-long friendships with students from across the globe. Back on campus, I am the Social Chair of the Princeton Brazilian Jiu Jitsu club. In my free time, I enjoy reading, climbing, traveling, hiking, backpacking, camping, skiing, summiting random PNW mountains, and basically anything outdoors.
