Bio/Description

Major: SPIA
College: Butler
International Experience: University College London
Location: London, England

I am a junior in the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs (SPIA) on the pre-med track with certificates in Entrepreneurship (ENT) and Global Health (GHP). I am from Los Angeles, CA, and was at the University College London and studied both Population Health and the History and Philosophy of Science during Fall 2022. I took two classes within the Population Health department, one within the History of Medicine department, and a Princeton English class taught by Professor Robbie Richardson (ENG 425: Topics in London). Three of these classes helped me meet distribution, certificate, and elective requirements. My time studying the UK healthcare system informed my SPIA research seminar paper, and conversations with leading experts and doctors at the NHS reinspired my interest in global health. I became friends with several local and other international students through the Women’s Basketball team and Symphony Choir, some of whom I keep in touch with to this day! I also took advantage of the lighter course load and student discounts to travel in and around the city and abroad – highlights included hikes in the countryside and seaside, comedy clubs and pub nights in Dublin, and taking advantage of holiday lights and shows in London!

Student organization(s) I'm a part of at Princeton:
Health Scholars Program, Princeton University Chapel Choir, Women’s Club Basketball, Entrepreneurship Club – Output
