Students can take a mix of direct enroll courses and courses offered through the Consortium, all taught in Italian. Housing placements are exclusively with Italian students, for a full linguistic, social, and academic immersion.

Sciences Po Menton is a great fit for students with an advanced level of French and a specialized interest in political, economic, and social issues in the Mediterranean, Middle East, and the Gult. French and Arabic language courses are also available, and students will experience a small-campus environment situated along the Mediterranean Sea.

Based on the campus of Tsinghua University in Beijing, students take courses in Chinese language, reading, and comprehension, while being provided with a high level of individualized instruction.

The Intercollegiate Center for Classical Studies provides students with a premiere opportunity to study ancient history and art, archaeology, Greek and Latin language and literature in downtown Rome. A double-credit comprehensive and integrated course on the "ancient city" frames the semester, which is also dotted by numerous field-work explorations. Courses are taught in English.

The Kyoto Consortium for Japanese Studies (KCJS) is an exciting program for undergraduates who wish to do advanced work in Japanese language and Japanese studies. The program helps students strengthen their Japanese skills by providing intensive language training and regular interactions with host families and the local community.

The Middlebury School in Florence offers a variety of subjects for advanced students of Italian in the city known as the "cradle of Renaissance."
