How to Apply

Application to the Novogratz Bridge Year Program is open to all incoming undergraduate first-year students who have received and accepted the University's offer of admission.

In evaluating applications, we look for openness, curiosity, maturity, flexibility, resourcefulness, a diversity of experience and perspective, an eagerness to be challenged, and a commitment to service.

To apply:

  • Login to the Novogratz Bridge Year Program application website.
Students admitted to Princeton's incoming class can access our secure application site, using the same username and password created to check their Princeton University application status. Bridge Year application materials are available exclusively online.

  • Complete and submit your application materials
Students may create, edit, and save application materials in our online system. However, only students who accept Princeton's offer of admission may submit a Bridge Year application.  (A submit button will appear in the application after you confirm your intention to enroll).

  • Check your inbox.
A select number of applicants will be invited to interview for the program via Zoom in early June. Selection decisions will be e-mailed to all applicants after the interview process has concluded.

If you have any questions, please contact the Novogratz Bridge Year Program.
