Center for the Study of Democracy (CSD) is a European public policy think-tank witha regional focus on Central and Eastern Europe. This internship is split between two separate facilities, and IIP interns will accompany occupational therapists during sessions and monitor individualized treatment plans. The first facility, Centro Monte Coral focuses on treatment of motor problems in children and adolescents specializing in pediatric play-based therapy (physical, occupational, speech and hydro-therapy). The other facility, TO Paola Cruz, provides therapy and intervention in all stages of development (early, sensory and cognitive stimulation; education for leisure and free time; intervention in sensory systems, motor skills, and psychosocial skills; and mental health intervention).
