Princeton Alumni Weekly recently published an interview with John (Jack) Finlay ’18 and his research focusing on one of the symptoms associated with long COVID — the loss of smell. Finlay published a paper in the Science Translational Medicine about his findings.

Finlay pursued a master’s degree in medical sciences at the University of Cambridge on a Churchill scholarship and is currently an M.D. and Ph.D. student at Duke University.
