The Novogratz Bridge Year Program is excited to announce the launch of Voices, a monthly interactive series of events designed to highlight the work and lives of community members in the locations where Bridge Year operates: Bolivia, China, India, Indonesia, and Senegal.
The first event, Decolonizing Our Bodies: Clowning and Theater Games, is an interactive theater and clowning workshop hosted by Sukhmani Kohli of Udaipur, India, that will take place on Thursday, October 29 from 12:00-1:30 pm EST.
All Voices events are open to the University community. Events planned for the remainder of the fall semester include a live panel discussion on gender and women’s rights from Dakar, Senegal, and a conversation about politics and culture with a LGBTQIA+ activist from Kunming, China. Dates and times for all future events will be available here and on the Office of International Programs website.
