We will be joined by Mr. Nicholas Murray, of the British Consulate in New York City. The Marshall Scholarship strengthens the US–UK relationship by funding U.S. students to undertake postgraduate study and serve as cultural ambassadors throughout the UK. Marshall Scholars are selected on their academic achievement and their likelihood of becoming leaders in their future fields who will sustain ties with the UK.

The Gates Cambridge Scholarship provides funding in a wide range of disciplines for graduate degrees in the UK. The program offers several graduate degree options. The Gates Trust aims to fund students and alumni who are working on cutting-edge research and who will become leaders in their fields. We will discuss the application process at this session. One competition is open to U.S. citizens, with another for international students (except those from the UK).
