Peter Smith ’14 moved to São Paulo in 2015, after studying abroad in Rio de Janeiro as an undergraduate. He spent 4 years at Plan Evaluation as an M&E researcher on public and non-profit sector projects across Brazil, and currently works at Vera Solutions, helping social organizations use cloud and mobile technology to better track their impact and streamline operations. He recently completed a Master’s in Sociology at the University of São Paulo, which culminated in a thesis on the public discourse around prison privatization in Brazil.
